DescriptionJOB RESPONSIBILITY FOR E&I ENGINEER:
Understand contract with respect to electrical and instrumentation scope.
•
Execution of electrical and instrumentation activity related to the projects with respective to following:
o Preparation of the specifications of instrumentation and electrical (Motor, Heaters etc.) items.
o Preparation of the schedule and BOM for cabling and instrumentation
o Preparation of logic diagram and control philosophy as per the project and P & I
o Follow-up with the vendor for drawing submission and approval.
o Proper document handling
•
Support to SCM department in
o Floating enquiries for electrical and instrumentation project items as required.
o Evaluate quotations with respect to specs and customer requirements,
o Clearing the GRR of the goods received as required.
•
Support to QA department in
o Inspection of the material on receipt at stores.
o Preparation of the QAP for electrical and instrumentation items.
o Inspections of the electrical and instrumentation items at vendors place.
•
Assist Section Head - Electrical and Instrumentation for engineering and co-ordination / follow-up.
•
Support CSS department in
o Troubleshooting.
o Commissioning of the compressor’s controls and instrumentations.
o Site co-ordination and reporting day to progress in commissioning.
•
Maintain & adhere QMS & procedures.
Education/ experience / languages:
•
BE / B Tech (Instrumentation) 3 – 5 years of experience in similar business
•
and in Oil &Gas applications.
•
Awareness of engineering of rotating / static equipment’s and project management.
•
Knowledge of international standards like IEC, API, ASME, ASTM, DIN etc.
•
Fluent in English orally and in writing
•
Knowledge of various PLC systems (SIL-2/3), Variable frequency drives, and soft starters is must.
•
Knowledge of Hazardous Area Instrumentation and electrical equipment.
•
Knowledge of AutoCAD / UG for 2D & 3D modelling will be an added advantage.
•
Knowledge of Foundation Fieldbus Instrumentation is preferred.
•
Hands on Experience on PLC based starter cum control panel will be added advantage.
•
Knowledge of EOHS
