DescriptionPLC PROGRAMMER – SR. ENGINEER
Location: Pune, Chennai, Mysore, Bangalore
Job Description:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Mechatronics (preferred).
• 5-8 years of industry experience is mandatory, with strong exposure to manufacturing shop floor environments.
• Proficiency in PLC programming using IEC 61131- 3 languages (mandatory):(Ladder Logic / Structured Text / Function Block Diagram / Sequential Function Chart)\
• Strong hands-on experience with at least one of the following PLC and SCADA platforms (mandatory): (Siemens / Schneider Electric / Rockwell Automation / Beckhoff)
• Experience with Edge devices is an advantage (e.g: - Ignition Edge, Forge by Prosys OPC).
• Exposure to equipment integration projects is an advantage.
• Familiarity with the IS 95 Automation Stack is mandatory.
• Experience in the FMCG or Food & Beverage industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation protocols, including:(Modbus TCP IP / Profinet / Ethernet IP / OPC UA / MQTT)
• Excellent documentation Skills, including the creation of Control System Architecture diagrams, wiring schematics and User Manual.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to collaborate with stakeholders across Europe, North America, and APAC.
• Prior experience working with globally distributed stakeholders is an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% to customer locations.
• Must be responsible, Self-Driven, Self Motivated and able to work independently
