Senior Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:    

• Candidate Must have Experience with Tooling Concept Design, 3D Modelling& Detailing’s like Jigs & Fixture concept development, 3D modelling, and manufacturing detailing of welding fixtures, machining fixtures, and assembly fixtures using Creo Parametric.
• Experience in Clamping & Locating Strategy, define precise locating (3-2-1) principle) and structural clamping sequences to avoid heat distortion and maintain critical tolerances during robotic or manual MIG/TIG welding.
• Must have experience in Performing Engineering Calculations, Perform structural calculations, finite element analysis (FEA) for stress and deflection, & clamping forces calculations.
• Good Knowledge in DFM / DFA Compliance to Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Assembly (DFA) principles, ensuring easy access for welding guns, ergonomic loading, and fast sensor positioning.
• Deep understanding of hydraulic circuit, pressure calculations, welding processes (MIG/TIG/Spot), metallurgy, and geometric tolerancing.
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose clamping failures, heat-warp patterns, or interference issues in assemblies.
• Must have the Experience in Creo Parametric.
