Job Description – Sepasoft & Ignition (Lead)
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Sepasoft & Ignition Expert (Lead) to drive the design, development, and implementation of MES/MOM solutions using Ignition (Inductive Automation) and Sepasoft modules. The role involves leading technical delivery, mentoring teams, and ensuring scalable, high-quality industrial digital transformation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
•
Lead end-to-end implementation MES solutions using Sepasoft modules with Ignition
•
Design solutions across MES layers (Production, Quality, OEE, Downtime, Track & Trace)
•
Configure and develop Sepasoft MES modules (OEE, Production, SPC, Batch, Track & Trace)
•
Integrate Ignition with ERP (SAP), PLC/SCADA, and Historian systems
•
Develop reusable frameworks, templates, and standards for deployments
•
Drive requirement gathering, solution design, and customer workshops
•
Troubleshoot complex issues across MES, SCADA, and shopfloor connectivity
•
Ensure compliance with ISA-95 / ISA-88 standards
•
Lead technical teams, mentor resources, and conduct code/design reviews
Technical Skills
•
Hands-on experience with Sepasoft MES Suite (OEE, Production, Track & Trace, SPC)
•
Strong expertise in Ignition Platform (Vision, Perspective, Gateway, Tag Modeling)
•
Strong knowledge of SQL databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
•
Proficiency in Python scripting within Ignition environment
•
Understanding of industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT)
•
Experience integrating MES with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
•
Knowledge of IIoT and Industry 4.0 architectures
