Description*About The Role:*
We are hiring a Technical Illustrator with expertise in PTC IsoDraw for Automotive Parts Catalog and Service Manual illustration.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Create and revise 2D technical illustrations, exploded views, and detailed part views for *Automotive Parts Catalog, Owner's Manual, Service Manual & Spare Parts Manual.*
- Import and process 3D CAD models (Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA) in *IsoDraw* to generate high-quality vector illustrations.
- Understand *BOM, ECN/ECR, Engineering Drawings* and update illustrations accordingly.
- Collaborate with Technical Authors and Engineering team to ensure accuracy as per client standards.
- Follow automotive illustration standards, style guides, and quality checklists.
- Manage illustration revisions for *NPI (New Product Introduction) & ECM (Engineering Change Management)*.
- Perform self-QC and ensure on-time delivery.
*Mandatory Skills:*
- 1-2 Years of relevant experience in Technical Illustration (Automotive preferred)
- Excellent hands-on experience in *PTC IsoDraw 7.3 / 7.4*
- Good knowledge of *Adobe Illustrator* for final artwork finishing
- Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings and BOM
- Basic knowledge of Authoring tools like *Arbortext / FrameMaker* is an advantage
*Desired Skills:*
- Knowledge of *Creo Illustrate / CATIA Composer / KeyShot*
- Familiarity with *S1000D / J2008 standards* for automotive documentation
- Experience in tractors, commercial vehicles, or off-highway equipment is a plus
*Education:* Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering
